Bontrager Single Speed
This frame was built up as a single-speed conversion. The frame is the
older style Bontrager with squared-off decals, two piece rear stays, and a pulley to redirect
the front derailler for use with a bottom pull unit. I'm guessing that the frame is from 1993,
but it could have been built a year or two in either direction. As best I can tell, '92 and earlier
frames have their cable guides riveted on, and '94 and later decals are the "dart" style instead
of the square-edged. However, I know this varies somewhat and it does not hold true in all cases.
I moved most of the components to a '91 Bontrager OR frame, and this frame now sits unbuild. The OR
has horizontal dropouts and makes a better single speed frame.
