Bontrager Factory Single Speed
Based on a standard Bontrager Race frame, this is one of the few single speed frames made in Bontrager's Santa
Cruz shop. These frames were either converted to single speeds or build new as single speeds in the mid-1990's by Kirk
Pacenti (Bontrager frame builder from the early 90's until the shop closed down). They were not available through
dealers, and were primarily built for employees, their friends, or friends of friends. In total, there were less
than 20 of these frames made.
Needless to say, the bike rides great. :) (and the fork has been replaced since the picture was taken)
