Coffee Shop Bike
According to Ritchey's '85 catalog, the Timber Comp was intended for "high-performance off-road riding or racing." The Timber Comp
was the "racier" version of the Timber Wolf model, but less expensive than the Team Comp model, which had a steeper seat tube angle,
shorter wheelbase, and used Columbus SP tubing. The catalog lists the Timber Comp's angles at 69/72 degrees.
I enjoy riding this bike, but don't ride it as often as I'd like. I used to use it to bike to my local coffee shop, but it's not
made that trip in quite some time. It's in excellent condition, and does not appear to have been used either on or off-road though
the years. I purchased the bike in 2001.
