1985 Ritchey Timber Wolf

This bike was the first Ritchey. I bought it as a fun cruise around the neighborhood bike. The frame size was a little small, but I made it work. When I found a Timber Comp of about the same vintage in my size, I bought that and sold the Timber Wolf.

The Timber Wolf was a fillet brazed frame built by Tom Ritchey. The Timber Comp was the same frame with slightly better components making it lighter and better for racing. The Timber Wolf that I owned had been upgraded by the original owner to Phil Wood hubs with quick releases. I sold the bike to a guy that lived in either Gilroy or Morgan Hill.
